ARMADA, Mich. - The cause of death has been released in the case of murdered Michigan teen April Millsap, whose body was found in a wooded area two weeks ago, reports the Detroit Free Press.
A death certificate filed Wednesday in the Macomb County Clerk's Office said the 14-year-old from Armada, Mich., died of blunt head trauma and asphyxia due to neck compression.

Police have released this composite sketch of a person who was seen on the Armada, Mich. trail near the site where April Millsap's body was found Thursday, July 24. Anyone with information is asked to call 877-616-4677.

Police are still working to determine who killed the girl.
Authorities have been looking for tips about a male seen riding a motorcycle on the trail on the day Millsap was killed, according to the Free Press. A composite sketch of the man has been released. The unknown male has not been called a suspect.
